FAQs

February 8th, 2014 | 1-6PM | Georgia Theatre

What’s the history with this event?

For the last three events, Bulldawg Brawl has raised over $40,000 in support of H.E.R.O. for Children, benefitting the 12,000 minors in Georgia affected by HIV / Aids. Now, we have opened up the event to encourage fighters to choose the causes (different color, link to causes) for which they brawl. In addition, we give these fighters and causes discount codes (different color, link to CDCs and ticket purchase) in order to rally supporters to the event and greater benefit their cause.

Who sponsoring the event?

Our great friends the United States Marines! They'll also be at the event, so make sure you talk to them.

When are tickets being released?

Tuesday, January 14, we will release 100 of our $25 combination tickets for just $10 each (different color, link to buy tickets) starting at 6pm and ending when they’re all gone!

If we miss that, can we buy tickets at the door?

Tickets will be sold at the door for $25 and cannot be bought with any discount codes. We do this so that all money raised for the participating causes is totaled and raised by Friday, 2/7, the day before the event.

What exactly are the ticket options, again?

Who’s Emceeing?

Former UGA and Falcons Tight End, Aron White and everybody’s favorite campus personality, Rance Nix will be commentating the action, giving away prizing and keeping you entertained all day long.

What causes are participating this year?

Check out the causes we support here (different color, link to causes page)

Who are the generous sponsors of the Brawl?

The Omni Club of Athens is our biggest sponsor and we could not do this event without their dedication to improving the health and fitness of Athens’ finest or their devotion to supporting local charities. We also couldn’t do this event without the ring from the UGA Boxing Club and great training provided by Chris Jordan and Ramone Hayes.
